Everything turned out excellent! The editing plan on the scanner let me brighten and fix the contrast about the old black and white pictures till they’re perfect. Virtually no warm-up time either, click what you want to do and it’s done, just like that! It also came with discs for Photoshop Elements for Windows and Mac, a nice bonus!
I don’t require a picture organizer, I have iPhoto for this. Push the button about the front panel and also the menus jump around on their own quite mysteriously. Ugh. Who designed this junk code? Five stars for the hardware; none for the software program. Follow-up about the software.

We’ve scanned negatives and slides and the high quality is really very great. For the price, this scanner does an admirable job. We did an enlarged print of one of the slides we scanned and it’s good enough for framing. I guess a professional scanner would do better but who can afford one? This one does the intended work converting our old slides and negatives to digital format for convenience and for safe-keeping ought to anything ever occur towards the originals.

Nanuk 905 with foam fit the bill just perfect. Not just is the foam easy to deal with but also I still have room for extra accessories and its waterproof! One other nice feature it that I can easily lock it with my handy TSA locks and not to worry about anyone opening the situation. The situation itself is very lightweight and is built like a tank.
